Buist Byars & Taylor LLC is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant or Legal Assistant to join our Commercial Real Estate team located in our Mount Pleasant office. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience in this field and must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. As we value collaboration and team culture, remote work is not offered. Responsibilities: Communicating with clients, attorneys and paralegals via phone, email or in person in a timely and professional manner Receiving and opening new matters for the department Schedule and calendar appointments/deadlines, manage and organize case files Summarize legal documents Organize, analyze and cross-check information, and review legal forms/documents for accuracy Prepare and handle the filing of legal and corporate documents Performing administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and filing Manage, organize and use good workflow on assigned matters Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Punctual and reliable Attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software Excellent written and verbal communication skills Superior customer service skills with a professional demeanor Ability to multi-task and exercise a high level of attention to detail Able to think proactively and resolve issues Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks Work efficiently with minimal supervision This position provides a comprehensive benefits package and an engaging workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
