Century Arms, Inc. Reports to:Manufacturing Supervisor Position Type: Full-Time Location: Vermont Summary of Position Mission Responsible for setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes. Responsibilities Adjusts machines, including controls or controlmedia, as required toensure quality of work Communicates withsupervisor, engineers, productioncontrol,quality and othermanufacturing personnel for assignments and toresolve qualityissues Keeps equipment and work area cleanand orderly Performs basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment Studies and interprets drawings,manuals, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces,sequence of operations and setup requirements Activelyparticipate andsupport the 5S process within the work area on a daily basis. Exposure to conditions ofextreme heat/cold, poor ventilation,fumes and gases is verylimited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of lightmanufacturing,shipping and receiving, and normal officeequipment (computers, telephones, etc.). No knownenvironmental hazards are encountered in normal performance ofjob duties.
