Draft and prosecute patent applications in semiconductor and software-based technology areas.Collaborate with clients to understand their inventions and provide legal advice.Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.Manage patent portfolios and provide strategic guidance.
1 year of experience in the engineering/industrial area or engineering/physics research.1 year of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Qualified to sit for a state law licensing bar exam.Eligible to sit for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office patent bar exam or have passed the USPTO patent bar exam.
Juris Doctor degree.Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science.
State law licensing bar exam qualification.USPTO patent bar exam eligibility or certification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency in patent drafting and prosecution.
